IT'S BEEN A WHILE, BUT WE'RE BACK!

COUNT THE MINUTES TO OUR NEXT GIG
Slide your mouse or trackball so that the cursor sits in the black space to the left of the orange gargoyle and watch a cool animated clock. The clock actually moves wherever you slide your mouse, but it looks great against the black background!

CHUMP ON THE AIRWAVES
In July 2009 Chump's song "Living in Squalor" hit the airwaves with the power of Sirius/XM satellite radio propelling the song worldwide. Thanks to Genya Ravan, who featured the song on her "best unsigned bands in America" program, and also read our biography from our MySpace page. Closer to home, one of our colleagues, Amy Hutto, started a podcast radio program called the Charleston Buzz (also available for download). Amy has played several cuts off Viagraculture on various programs. Thanks Amy! Let's plan a concert together soon.

ONE DOOR CLOSES, ANOTHER OPENS
The Trace Elliot Bonneville was a big part of the Chump sound on all our CDs. After a series of SNAFUs getting the tubes changed, the Bonneville was left for dead. Ultimately it was brought back to life, but it was too little too late. The Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier is now in place. Anyone interested in the Trace Elliot can stop by Ye Olde Music in Hanahan, SC -- it's for sale at a good price.

CHUMP THROUGH THE YEARS
The two pictures below show the band over the years. The first was taken in December 1997, shortly after we formed. Below that is a photo taken just after our September 2009 gig. A few more lines on the faces, a few more gray hairs, but all in all not too bad for 12 years later.

CHUMP CDs AND OTHER MERCHANDISE

VIAGRACULTURE front cover BLUE STEEL BABY front cover Back in the day, Chump's CDs VIAGRACULTURE and BLUE STEEL BABY were available for purchase on the world-famous Amazon.com website. Although the listing still comes up there, it seems to indicate that they are out of stock. Similarly, both CDs used to be available in many of the South Carolina music stores, but "As The World Turns," CD purchases are increasingly handled online.

Fear not. Simply click the "Merchandise" button at the top of the screen and you'll be able to purchase either of these CDs, special order the"Live at the Music Farm" CD, or buy a Chump T-shirt and guitar picks. We can accept payment by check or money order, or if you want to pay via credit card there's also a very user-friendly link that can process your credit card payment through PayPal.
